At Générale Ressorts, we are committed to minimizing our environmental impact and adopting sustainable practices in our operations. With this in mind, we have joined the Swiss Triple Impact (STI) program, initiated by B Lab Suisse, to assess and improve our sustainability performance, in line with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Today, we are proud to announce that we have reached a major milestone in our approach: we have reduced our consumption of drinking water in our production chain by 70% compared with 2021, thus meeting Objective No. 4 of our STI commitment.
A concrete, measurable impact
This reduction represents a significant saving, from 837 m³ of water consumed per year to a fraction of this volume, reducing our CO₂ emissions linked to this consumption. This progress is the fruit of continuous optimization of our industrial processes, enabling us to limit the use of natural resources while maintaining our level of excellence.
A lasting commitment
Inclusion in the STI Directory validates our commitment to a more responsible industry. This achievement marks a key milestone, but we’re not stopping there: we’re continuing our efforts to further reduce our environmental footprint and adopt ever more sustainable practices.
